Novice needs some advice!

All, new to this, and after some advice please. Having recently joined a club, not sure of the rules, on whether I can tee off from the white tees and/or the yellow tees?

Depends on the club. Best to ask in the pro shop.

Hi Duffer. Where abouts do you play?

You'll have to inquire with the club as to whether you're allowed to play off the whites for bounce games and if so, it's then down to whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Normally, I'd say stick to the yellows.
Most courses keep the white tees for competition.
Having said that, some will let you use the whites.
Best bet is check with the pro
