It's my birthday this week and noticed an ape headcover in a bag in the cupboard. It's obviously for me but hate them. Am I alone in this?

When I first joined this illustrious Forum I put forward an idea for Thunderbird Head Covers

You have numbers 1 to 5 for the woods
or Scott / Virgil etc

I would buy some if they were made

But thats coz im sad

There's a fine line between looking cool and looking like a dickhead.

Using a novelty headcover crosses it by about 3 million miles.......

Not a big fan of the stuffed cartoon ones. I could, however,be persuaded if there were a range of well designed 'normal' headcovers with decent artwork on them. There a plenty for putters so why not for drivers, woods and hybrids.

Not got a problem with them.

When your grandaughter gives you one as a prezzie then what choice do you have, use it or suffer 3 mad wummin naggin you to death :D :D :D

I got a gorilla one off my girls for christmas, it covers my 3 wood, I quite like it, he has been named george! haha

besides, I think I would rather have george in my bag then the awful yellow nike cover!!

I have a Spongebob headcover that I sometimes have on my driver. It was a present as I like spongebob and have a yellow and black Cobra bag so it kinda matches.

Anyone who is annoyed by what anyone else has on there driver needs to have a look at themselves in the mirror though.

never got the snobbery involved with a lot of golf. Golf is a hobby as much as anything and why do something you don't enjoy.

I have no real issue with them. I actually have a bulldog smoking a cigar but don't use it as it takes up too much room in my bag, that's my only real issue with it.

Like chewing on a match stick. Have one in the side of your mouth and you look cool! You can take hold of it and go, "Hey, you kids! You kids be cool!". But have another match stick on the other side of your mouth - looking like a dickhead. Same goes for eye-patches. One looks pretty cool, but one over EACH eye!? Hello!?

Novelty headcovers are used by people who wear shorts and use their mobile phones while on the course.
