Called round to the club to pick my clubs up to head to the range after work this evening. Since the sun was shining decided to head out to work on a few things. Course nearly to myself, sun shining, nothing more relaxing and now looking forward to Saturdays comp! Tried to upload a wee PIC!

Yep, nothing beats millionaire's golf when you have the course to yourself, the sun is shining and you can try some stuff out.

Played Shandon Park last year in an open with Brendy.

Nice course with super greens and some good grub in the clubhouse.

Might get up again for a game sometime.

Certainly. Is in great nick at the most as I'm sure everywhere is. Yes were spoilt here with the greens and the grub ain't half bad either.

Is it still chocca block trying to get out on a sat at shandon? Im less than a mile from the course but a combo of the fees (hefty for me anyways) and the fact that all I hear is its a nightmare on a sat has put me off and the last 2 years have seen ormeau & castlereagh hills get my hard earned. Surprised it was quiet tonight...super evening for it.

No problems getting a time on a saturday just have to go up on the teetime night every 4th week. Fees are worthwhile if you get out enough.

Myself and my PP got round in 3 hours on wednesday night, quickest I've ever been around my place. Didn't see one other set of golfers while we played.
