Had a lesson this morning - after not hitting a ball for a fortnight.

Over the winter I've hit balls or played golf nearly every day, but two weeks ago today a miracle happened for Dundee, the football team I photograph and support - the team above them lost unexpectedly and we won to put us top of the league with one game to go - last couple of weeks have been absolutely manic with photographing, editing and my day job too - and there's been a bit of beer/champagne consumed too :D

Finally back on an even keel today and lesson went well after I'd admitted to not doing any homework in last couple of weeks.

Just got the team's civic reception to shoot tomorrow lunchtime then I'll get out for a few holes tomorrow afternoon - and new signing pictures apart that's me finished with shooting pro football till we play Man City in July so I'll be concentrating on golf.

Here's me with a non golf trophy - though I am wearing a new IJP polo shirt

Count yourself lucky it's only been a fortnight off. Due to work I've only managed to play one round of golf this year. And shot a gross 99. Worked out the other day that my 5 year old son has played more holes of golf than me in the year, partly due to last time I asked him if he wanted to go and play his reply was "Yes, but you can't play. You can carry my clubs and bring the camera to take photos of me".

I think you can be excused for celebrating and not playing, it was a great end of season for Dundee. Hope you take points off the 'big teams' next season and thump yer next door neighbours. ;)
