Not having much luck with my gear!

I'm still trying to sort out my knackered Titleist bag with AG and I've now discovered my Footjoy Hydrolites have come apart where the sole meets the top bit of the shoe! Only noticed today half way through my round when I got trench foot, I thought it was just sweat at first but a quick inspection showed the problem.
What is it with gear failing as it's just out of warranty?

A lot of club pros now internet price match and that's a good option for gear you might have trouble with.
