As you say, orange dots are a bit weird, but other than that, lovely looking clubs.

I'm sure the orange could be removed with some wire wool

Saw these on 'The Sand trap'.

Don't like the brass weights.

Also don't like the weird etching on the top of the back.

I think they are also raw finish, so will rust like a rusty thing.

May be just a stab here in the dark Bob.....But those "orange" dots may be brass inserts to promote extra weight low down....
Might be wrong though.

With out those dots and a shiney(er) finish, they'd be excellent looking.
