I will admit this was me today!
Putting out a few holes in I head a small noise, thought nothing of it. Next hole I heard a ripping noise, Yup, gone and torn my trouser leg, right when I was playing at the furthest point from the clubhouse. Tentatively played a few holes more but had to walk in, the tear was now about 1/3 of the way round about 1/2 way up my thigh!
Really annoying as I had played well for the first two holes and made a solid par when it happened. I apologised to the nice lady behind the counter and hastily retreated home!
As its the local par 3 I will find some new clothes and head back for 18 in the late afternoon after I have done my chores.
