I'm getting so frustrated at the moment.

Been having some muscular issues just below my right shoulder blade and around the right side of my rib cage that started a few weeks ago. Stopped playing golf for a week or so and it seemed to get better, then my new clubs arrived last Thursday and I decided to go to the driving range to give them a test drive.

15-20 swings in and I feel a huge pain in that muscle area. Struggled home and tanked up on ibuprofen which did nothing. Really painful weekend. Didn't go to the docs since I assumed I'd just strained a muscle or something (don't see the point in waiting for 4 hours in A&E only to be told that I need to rest). It's almost a week later now and the rib pain is still there somewhat.

Time to get it checked out I think. So bloody frustrating not being able to play, particularly when I have a brand new, virgin set of MP-54s starting at me in the face whenever I enter my bedroom. Might put them in the cupboard until I can crack them out!!

To make matters worse I am supposed to be going on a golf day to The Astbury in a couple of weeks. If I'm not sorted by then I'll be gutted...

Anyone else injured?

this is probably tempting fate, and going to shock people, but I can honestly say, nope not injured currently (only a matter of time though surely lol)

Been through it plenty of times recently, get it checked out but get some rest, believe its only more frustrating when you try and play too soon and delay your return even longer!

Not injured but through work I don't play for 4 weeks on the trot! Get home and kids are off school so more like 5 1/2 weeks!,
Ebay will be getting seriously abused!

Feeling the same way after I pulled a muscle in ribs about 10 days ago. Seems to be getting worse in the last few days.

Not the best of timing, just as the new season is getting under way.

Had a problem with my big toe for coming up to 3 months now. Think its from when I stubbed my toe on the bed and thought nothing of it until I went to the gym a couple of days later and had to come off the treadmill, did no exercise for the next 4 weeks but it was getting worse so went and got it xrayed - no break that they could see. Last after RICE, tablets, creams and rest I went to see a physio after being to the docs and still its no better. Went to see a muscular doctor and he seems to think its gout!! Blood test next week and should find out.

It hasn't stopped me playing golf but haven't been to the gym or out running and starting to feel the pounds stacking on, need it sorting now.
