Not a hole in one

I played this morning and as it was very frosty we were on temporary greens, with 6 inch wide holes which are quite shallow. One the last hole my tee shot landed just short of the hole, bounced in and then promptly bounced back out again.

Just as well as it wouldn't have counted as an ace.

I would suggest that in this scenario there was no point in time (nanosecond or less) that all of the ball was at rest.
