I've had the details of my prize in the Srixon compy that i won the other day and they are:-

Meet up with David Howell at Bearwood Lakes on Monday
Play a 5 hole Texas Scramble with MikeH on our team against teams including Messers Stensen, Jiminez and Kjeldsen. prize giving, food, drinks signed photo etc etc

So why am I Not a Happy Bunny?
Mainly because my left knee has "popped" and I can barely walk on it let alone play golf. Going to be touch and go for Monday. I just hope it settles down over the weekend.

Life sucks sometimes.

Hey, if Tiger can do it then so can you!

Seriously though, hope you get it sorted. For a prize like that perhaps it's worth shelling out on some top-class treatment...courtizone (sp?) injections, that sort of thing?

It was a compy in Gm a month or 3 back. To be honset I don't even remember the question!! Just got drawn out of the hat!

Wow - what a prize, rest up fella and hobble round if you have to!

Its nice to know someone wins these things because after 3 years of entering GM comps never even a sniff...wondering if all they wanted was our email details for 'selected 3rd parties'...call me cynical.

SHW I know where your coming from, but GM are the only company I have known to have 'proper' winners. Some of the prizes that our guys have won are unbelievable.

MWJ won a day with Zane Scotland and a membership at Princes.

Ian- Do exactly what Hywell says. And on the day, neck the pain killers or play like McIlroy putts in this months mag. :D

I'm sure once you get there and see some of the holes and the whole layout (th eplace oozes class) the adrenalin will kick in and you'll be fine. I'd agree with getting the painkillers on board over the weekend and rest it properly.

Enjoy the day though you jammy git

My mate's a chippy. If I got him to use a new blade on his circular saw, and varnished up a bit of 2 by 4, for a small fee I'm sure I could persuade him to 'Bader' you up.

You won't have any knee problems again.

Marginally better - at least I can walk on it!
Got a fairly relaxing day lined up tomorrow so hopefully it'll improve further.
Took a wedge into the garden this afternoon and tried some 1/2 then 3/4 swings and it didn't actually feel to bad.

Here's hoping.
Thanks for the thoughts Guys!
