Not a bad day at the office

Managed to get down to the club today for a late tee off at around 4pm. Ended up playing with some other billy no-mates with a rather animated swing.

Hit the ball pretty well most of the day and putted better than my numbers suggest, but did leave a few putts out there.

But 87 gross (with an 8 on the card)
36 putts
5 FIR's (with 8 of the other 9 just off the fairway in the 1st cut)
9 GIR's

and no less than 8 pars, is alot better than I've been playing recently. Managed to keep the same ball all the way round too! Bonus.

All in all, a good day, with the exception of my handicap still not being posted. I reckon it will go up monday though.

sort of frustrating day here, only a friendly knock, was level gross coming off 14 when won the friendly game, proceded to hit an 8 iron out of bounds on 15 on the way to dropping 6 shots over the last 4 holes

Not bad for me, there is a little anger in my game the last few weeks that is holding me back a little but:

Beat my mate Dave(Pretty much what I live for)
Lost to Fundy (CUT!!)
Met a new member who joined us for the last 5 holes, seemed like a nice guy.

I think good fun was had by all.

Oh ye, got to watch Fundy drive 337 uphill on the 12th no wind. GPS Checked... the guy is an animal!

Edit:I should admit I made a little bit of fuss about my mates handicap at the turn and ended up making a fool of myself by beating him by one
