usually raining up here but just saw the horrendous conditions you suvverners are having today:smirk:

I'm counting the clouds in our blue sky today................havent got to 1 yet:whoo:

Yesterday the weather in the south west was wet and drizzly. Following the weeks rain the course was very wet and waterlogged in some areas. Worryingly quite a bit of the surrounding land is flooded.

Today the course is closed and it's been raining very heavily since the very early hours, (3 am). It is forecast all day and throught the night. Tomorrow will be better and then it's heavy showers for the rest of the week.

It'll be a miracle if the course isn't flooded especially if the river and drain running behind the course go over their banks. At a guess it will be several weeks before the course will recover.

Just about to head off to Arbroath to play in their Texas Scramble. Gorgeous day for golf, sunny with a wee chill in the breeze but looking forward to it.

had a couple of decent days here and tomorrow is forecast to be sunny, but today is cold, wet and windy, Ah well, Golf at 2.30, needs must.

Good luck to anyone playing today anywhere South of the North...!!!

Got to go out to work soon and don't even want to do that in this weather....

yep - course closed and league match postponed........

normally that would mean mowing the lawn but, for some reason, I think that's out too

Terrible out there in wild Bracknell this morning. Its the town half marathon and I don't envy them running in this. To be honest there was lots of standing water forming on the fairways yesterday although the bunkers and greens were fine. I think after the overnight deluge it could be touch and go whether it is open at all

Yesterday was nice here in the north west but today is like the world is gonna end! Absolutley belting it down and gale force winds. The clubs are staying in the spare room today! Glad i didnt have any comps on today or anything.

Terrible here also - it was non stop last week and the cousre was closed Thurs - Saturday. Had a half day booked off Friday to play as well so have saved that for another time.

Yesterday was dry and windy so they said the course would re-open today but it is now hammering down and has been all night I think. I am even thinking twice about hitting the range its that bad.

Pub lunch with HID maybe - get some brownie points:cheers:

Weather was fine here in North Wales for a knock out qualifier yesterday....same couldn't be said about my game though :(

This morning woken up to a cold, very wet and breezy day.....course closed.

Messing about on the PC this morning as there's nothing else to do and nearly puked when I turned on the radio and listened to Steve Wright (I thought his weekday show was cr*p but his Sunday show is gut wrenchingly embarassing) so I'm playing some of my own old music which I haven't done for years now feeling much better.
