Just how bad is this place? The rest of the world goes mad about them developing their own nukes, to defend themselves, yet don't get rid of their own. Is this fair? They have their own way of doing things. Do they charge about having wars over oil? Yes USA I'm looking at you, oh and the UK. I'm sure someone will say they might use their new nukes, but look at it from NK point of view, someone might use their's against them, when they want to change how they (NK) do things.
Leave them alone I think. Pop over and have a chat see if they need owt, if not, say okey dokey and leave them to it.

NK have never denounced their intention to one day have a unified Korea. South Korea have always said no thanks. If it wasn't for the support of the US of A, South Korea would be under the yoke of NK by now. I do worry about Trump deciding to do something unilaterally as NK's ally is China. Hence the US asking China to have a quiet word with NK.

Its a worry when there's a dodgy regime looking to get big bang toys.

USA has them. Pakistan has them. Both very unstable. Just why shouldn't they have them? If they fire one they will be obliterated. It's just about having one to prevent the threat of another country firing at them.

USA and Pakistan are nowhere near the level of North Korea - not in a million years. Neither would even think of using any nuclear arsenal - NK would imo not hesitate to use it if it helped them take over South Korea.

The technology exists, even if you destroy every nuke on earth , that technology will still exist and will be able to be resurrected by whoever desires it.

Unless you wipe the internet, and execute every person in the world who has ever been involved in the research and development of these weapons.

NK would be better off scrapping their Nuke program and spending the money on feeding their brainwashed people.

I would support air strikes to stop NK aquireing nukes because one day Kim Boss man will actually be deluded enough to launch one for real.

Nukes are the ultimate deterrent because if one gets let off, we are all off to hell in a handcart, that's why it is important to stop them spreading beyond where they already are now.

I think they already have them, it's attaching them to a guided long range missile (ICBM) that's the imminent development threat specific to USA (west coast USA reachable). China is key but they don't want the region destabilised or 20 million NKorean refugees will be heading their way.

Clearly NK needs to be stopped from acquiring useable nukes but I always do find it just a tiny bit ironic that the world's nuclear policeman is the US.

Yes they did and it served 2 purposes
1 it stopped WW2 in its tracks (although the loss of life was truly awful)
2 it made the world aware that these weapons cannot be allowed to be used again.

The balance needs to be maintained as it is imo
