This year our 2022 "european tour" is going to Norfolk - and based just outside Norwich. The overall winners prize is usually a case of beer. I dont know much about beer from Norfolk - so, anyone got any good recommendations for us to consider?

Woodfordes brewery isnt far from Norwich. If youre playing at Brancaster theres a small local brewery there too

Adnams is from Southwold but think it might just be in Suffolk

I knew a guy who worked at Greene King, he now works for Woodfordes and has had it put in Mansfield Rugby Club. It is a gorgeous beer.

Woodforde's is the biggest name from Norfolk, but as mentioned Adnams will also have plenty of reach into Norfolk even though it is (just) in Suffolk. both should offer plenty of scope for you to create a "mixed case" of beers showcasing their ranges. Adnams also have a number of shops scattered over the region where you can walk in and buy what you want...there are several in Norwich.

Wolf Brewery could be an option Mixed Pack (12) (wolfbrewery.com) and perhaps for something different Ales (fatcatbrewery.co.uk) ...the Fat Cat is a highly regarded chain (of 5 pubs), three in Norwich, one in Ipswich, the other in Colchester, all of which have a reputation for good and well kept beer....not personally sampled any of their own beers myself though.

Ampersand Craft Beer From Norfolk Brewery | Ampersand Brew Co is also another option...though based in Diss, right on the Norfolk/Suffolk border (its in Norfolk but has an Ipswich post code!!) it would probably mean you having to order and have the beer delivered to you in advance of your trip.

Finally....not a Norfolk brewery, but, given most of the region is inbred so we are all one family down here, I'll allow myself to recommend a Suffolk based brewery.....Burnt Mill do some excellent beers.... Burnt Mill Brewery Online Shop (burnt-mill-brewery.myshopify.com)
