For those of you with young children, and those of you that haven't grown up yet(inc. me), I recommend Googling NORAD Santa. It runs from Dec 1st and became a ritual in our house after tea on every Christmas Eve. The children were absolutely entralled watching Santa's progress around the world delivering presents. Since first finding it xx years ago, NORAD have added improvements to their tracking systems, although when they say he's overhead I'm yet to spot him...

Definitely one for Christmas Eve for you with young children... BELIEVE!

Always check this with the kids. Was awesome a couple of years ago (or possibly last year??) when the ISS went over on Xmas Eve. Never seen the kids so keen to get to bed as they were after seeing Santa flying over. Does anyone know whether the ISS will be visible on Xmas Eve this year?

for those with young kids who still believe, also take a look at the Personal North Pole website.

you get an email video message from the big man himself, personalised with your little ones name, including photos and references to the presents on their list and what they have been up to this year, and whether they are on the good list or the naughty list.

had my daughter going with the naughty list for years, (she's 9 now and far too grown up to believe in Santa.....:(

Agree with this. Our boys (^ and nearly 8) had there's last night. Loved it, although the near-8yr-old is starting to question Santa!

I like the NORAD Santa Site - and it is a bit neat that the North American Aerospace Defense Command is tracking incoming ballistic Santas...

Now if I remember correctly from my ballistic missile defence days, the big problem for Santa is that the antlers of his reindeer are really excellent reflectors for long range surveillance radars and so are dead give-aways of his position. Best thing he can do is put his sleigh into a tail-spin - now that's dead hard to track and then intercept - so he'll always get through to our chimleys.
