Does anyone have a non golf designed thing that works perfectly for something in and around the course/practice etc but wasn't specifically designed for use on the course?

I have a damp flannel in my water cooler pouch in a plastic bag - I use it to clean my balls on the green when you need that bit of moisture, but don't want to lick your thumb to wipe away the schmutz.

My friend always has a can of pressurized air (for use on keyboards) to blast his clubs/shoes in and around the course.

What non golf item(s) do you use?

Sealskins socks (Military issue) from eBay, greatest invention ever, :D

I prefer to wait until I'm back at home in the bath.

I have one to use on HID's balls.

Use a brass wire suede shoe brush to clean grooves on clubs. Use baby wipes to clean dirt and grass stains off of shoes, clubs, bag and trolley. Sealskin socks for dry feet, Under Armour snood (bought about 4 years ago) for neck and face in super cold conditions, but prefer the on course stiff bristled brushes for washing my balls....
