So Liberty have taken over F1 and removed Bernie after 40 years and many ups and downs. Bernie has been running this show my whole life and I am very ready for the unknown of Liberty.

One of Bernie`s skill sets is meant to be that he keeps learning all the time. Its going to be a hard lesson to learn how to not be the centre of a world he created.

Great to see the Americans coming in with both Liberty and Zak Brown. Even better to see Ross Brawn in a pivotal role.

I am sure Bernie can look at the millions .... .sorry billions he has pocketed from F1 over the years. Not bad for someone who wheeled and dealed his way into owning the Brabham team in the 70s.

With a handsome salary....

As you say, glad to see Ross Brawn involved...

Think Bernie always had Flav the impaler in mind as his successor... Maybe even dodgier than himself...

Yep, Flav`s getting old now too... No sure about dodgier... Have your driver crash his car for the sake of the other driver or.... Pay $100m to qwash bribery trial.

I can't say I'm a fan of F1 or have ever watched it, but it does surprise me someone of his Age (is he 80 something), still wanting to be working!!

I would say thanks a lot I'm off to spend my Billions and shag some attractive tall Models ( well tall compared to him anyway)

It's his life, which says a great deal about his home life I suspect. In this job he has power and, in his eyes, respect. People cower, doors open etc. Without this job he is just a funny little man, albeit a hugely rich one. In his eyes that matters. That is my reading of it anyway. Same as most multi billionaires really.

86 Patrick. And ye, I would say the above is a pretty fare assessment. He owns a jumbo so he can pretty much live while in transit, thus its not really work, its life.

Good. The new guy is making the right noises already, stating the British GP will go on. Hopefully one their first jobs will be to tie Silverstone down for the forseeable future.
