H.I.D has pre-booked me for christmas shopping delights today but neglected to tell me until this morning. There goes my game today, prob the last I would have had before xmas.

Women - can't live with them, can't p/x them for a set of shiny new irons either. Spose you can live without them but that just leaves sky chanel 949 to maintain ones heterosexuality

remember the date, then the next time you have a round at the last minute and the other half complains about the notice period remind her of this date and the 10 min noticed she gave you.

Jon, I think that your spouse deserves her 1st public warning. Two more warnings and you get a credit to a Saturday and Sunday of golf without her even huffing for a mo.

The only way to get her back is to say

I had to work and then go and get a new lock for the front door after some gits tried to break in (for my Callaways I presume!) They wouldn't have got to my clubs, they are protected by the dog and the locking bag I won from GM!

I would play tomorrow, but I'm still waiting for my h'cap! Can't see the point in playing for a 4th card and you can't enter the comp without the h'cap. Catch 22. Might go down after lunch for a 9.

Its difficult at the moment, I work 6 days a week on average, every sunday & every other saturday included so family time is precious.

I have every Thursday off but that is daddy day for me and my Olivia as the wife is at work.

However there is light at the end of the tunnel....... Wifey is giving up her part-time job at the end of December so much more golfing opportuinites for me in the new year.

Definately a write-off up until xmas though, out on the pish in Rochester next sat, baby's 1st birthday the following and a big group night out on the 22nd.

My first opportunity wil be 27th december now if I decide not to open up the site.

Im gonna practice tomorrow. Was gonna play but im gonna spend the day chipping and maybe putting. i need to knock on average 8 puts off my score/round. If i can chip closer that should help.

Floppy's name says it all! His missus has taken up golf and is trying the stiffness of different shafts. Maybe Floppy's doesn't do the trick?
