I'm from clitheroe and it's been none stop hammering and I mean hammering it down relentlessly for 16 hours, rivers have burst banks etc! The grounds staff are going to have a job and half on today (sat) and Sunday if the course is to be playable for MondayS qualifying. The drainage is superb at clitheroe but there has been a hell of alot of water come down! Forcast is for showers sat, drier with sun on Sunday and dry Monday! Fingers crossed for the guys entered! May be lift clean and place I feel?
 
It's been dry all day, and someone said they walked the course this morning and it was in good nik considering all the rain. A little rain forcast tonight with dry day tomorrow and fingers crossed for Monday!
