Discussed this with my playing partners today, all thought it a great idea. We are going to put a £5er per man in and last man standing wins, will give a bit of fun during the winter, adds a twist to the usual £2 swindle.

They had one of these on one of our medweekevening roll ups last summer

Apparently no-one played a full shot to the green - everyone kept playing layups and deliberate missing the green, so that they could pitch/chip so that they were never in 3 putt distance, which you could easily be in normal play.
