long shot as above anyone got any demo iron lying about with the nippon stiff shaft installed?

Er,
There's lots of different Nippon shafts.
950GH
1050GH
1150GH
are prob the most common and all have different attributes!
I never knew where the ball was going to go with the 950s. 1150s in a set of VIPs were too much for me. 1050s were pretty much fine for me - but sold as I didn't like the heads and Rifle 60s better feeling.
They also provide shafts for OEMs. Callaway, from memory, use 955s as a light option.
And my knowledge of them is quite old, so plenty more developed since I would presume.

i think its the nippon 105t??? in my titleist irons.
I have them in regular want to try out the stiff version of them.
Loving the distance and flight i get off them,want to see if a stiff shaft would help me a bit more with accuracy

Mizuno carry the Nippon range, why dont you try out a local fitter /DNA. It wont be the same head but if you try a mizuno head from the current range (MP63?) in the same shaft you have now against the stiff one it will give you a good idea, and its free.

I have a cobra s2 forged 6 iron with a Nippon stiff shaft. Not sure which, but the 1050 sounds about right. You can take it for a tenner.

Ive just checked and its a Nippon ns pro 1130 tour stiff shaft. The iron is in A1 condition as I picked it up new and have only used it at the range on 2 occasions.. Let me know, as its just sat in my spare golf bag at the moment..
