Nike Vapour Pro Irons

I've been offered these at a cracking price, are they any good?

I had my eye on some mp25's but ....I feel impulsive.

I know someone will say 'go and hit them, get custom fit etc' ....where is the fun in that

has anyone any opinions on the above

I have them , love 'em , only had them a few months , dropped lucky finding a set with after market shafts in which suit me, not that hard to hit, slightly unforgiving but amazing feel when you flush one.

I looked at the Pro Combo version and they were gorgeous. Just didnt get on with them aswell as my Srixons but certainly a +1 from me!

I started this year with a Nike boycott, that's long since gone.

I sold my principles for a Nike vapour hybrid.

They look and feel lovely, I'm not convinced how hard wearing the finish on the back would be. Maybe I should hold out for the mizzies

Or maybe the rsi tp's that I've actually hit, but then fish has got those, so they must be a proper chompers club

I loved them the first time I hit them and then wasn't as convinced the second time.

Lovely feel off the middle, and off-centre shots weren't punished that badly either.

I'd probably still go for the Mizzies, but if they're that good a price why not get them, and then move them on if you don't get along with them?

I hit them at the driver fitting at Archerfield to warm up and was more impressed with the irons than the driver!!

Really enjoyed hitting them, if I hadn't impulsively bought a set of irons on eBay I would be having a proper go with them for my irons for next year

Edit, I had a set of the previous pro combos and they were very good irons.
