Nike vapor irons

Think they look great but a red swoosh would have been better for asthetics. Lime green is a bit marmite and with the NZ9 range using I can see why CMac would pull in the comparison.

First thoughts, looks a bit cheap and gimicky to me, probably far from it but it's the kind of look I'd expect from Dunlop irons or something Tron might play

^^^ this. Look like cheap castings. Truth is they probably aren't but on first impressions that's how they come across to me.
That and the shocking insistance that everyone outside of America shouls spell vapoUr with no U....

Damn Americans, they ruined America!

Personally as a Product/Industrial designer myself, I think they look on point with the current trends we are seeing. Notice Nike's latest clothing collection features this 'highlighter' focus. How they perform is all up to the engineers, but from an aesthetical point, they look the business!

I had to double check the spelling they had used for them before I posted this thread too haha!!! I must agree with the green tick though perhaps something a little toned down would have been suffice, I suppose if you really wanted to you could repaint the tick?

Really ! IMO they look really low end budget bucket, garish and gimmicky.

Don't think they look great on the pictures, but reckon up close they'll look really nice. They're fairly out there, but they'll certainly appeal to the younger market, especially if they get Rory using them. Seems to be becoming a trend in golf at the minute, the bold colours. Cobra have done it well with the help of Fowler, and looks like Nike are trying to jump on the bandwagon too. I reckon they'll end up selling really well.

I like the look, happy for my clubs to be a bit brighter and livelier. If I were out shopping for a new set of irons they could be one that I would look to try.

Not a fan of those looks but can see how they will appeal to youngesters

I like the shape of them and the rumour is that Rory and Tiger will both be using them. The MM Proto irons that have been used on tour recently are very very similar but are a duller finish with black paintfill which makes them look a bit more subtle / classy / top quality .... I'm sure a bit of paint thinner and elbow grease could get rid of the yellow.

The MM Protos were what they called the Vapor Pro Combos during pre-launch testing, hence they look very, very similar!
