Hi everyone only joined today so very new to this. Started golf around 3-4months ago and last week I played the best game of my life until I hit a rough shot and found myself next to a tree. Me thinking I could play the shot and not follow through as much as i intended I took the shot and hit the tree and snap!!! The club snapped in half it was a 6 iron with an upgraded ust recoil shaft 460 f2. Been to a few shops to try get it fixed but they have come back with silly prices or not been able to find the shaft for the club. So I have been looking around just for a single right hand 6 iron vapor fly but can't find one anywhere. Is there anybody out there that can help me pleaseee :)

Where about do you live. Someone will be able to point you in the direction of a good club maker. How much have you been offered for the replacement shaft?

Hi I live in Luton. I've been to American golf and they told me it would cost just over £100 and would take 4-7 weeks. I've also been to south beds pro shop and they couldn't find a single shaft for the club and would have to buy a bulk order of shafts just for my one shaft.

Graphite shafts are not cheap. If you look at Gamola golf, a shaft of that type would be around £50. Add in a few quid for fitting and a new grip and I'd guess you'd be looking at £75 if you went to a club maker.

I've used custom lab golf in Beadlow Manor Golf Club which isn't far from Luton. I would suggest you send them an email or ring them up for an expert opinion.

Brilliant thanks for your help. Yes beadlow manor is about 20mins from me so I can pop over there and see if they could help me.
