Rick Shiels has begun reviewing the new Nike Vapor drivers. I know GM did a video review a little while back, but it's good to see one of the established Youtube pro's finally get their hands on one, I've been waiting to see how they perform. Looks promising, some very good results from the Vapor Speed, and I LOVE the design. I think when these come out, I'm going to be seriously tempted by a new driver, and this will be on the list, and I will be having a hit with one.

What do you guys think? Like the design? Will you be giving one a go?

I am not a fan of the volt colour. Really puts me off. I have seen black and white photos and it looks a lot better.

I haven't time to watch the review but it doesn't look very adjustable. I am sold on movable weight technology so this is a must for me from now on.

To quote Crossfield, if you hit them in the middle they will go much the same distance as every other driver on the market.

Yeah, but this one is shiny, and volt coloured.

But seriously, what do you think to this then?

For me the driver will most likely perform the same as my current Nike Covert.

But as a product designer, I loveeee the aesthetics. Nikey's design team have really stepped it up and the current trend of 'highlights' as a colour are really working well on the form of this product.

Might just buy one to stare and look at ;)

I have seen all of Rob the 15 handicappers videos and think they are brilliant. But he is not hitting them all in the middle like Crossfield, Shiels and Finch do. And as much as I like the videos they proved very little to me as I can pretty much guarantee if I hit all the drivers like he did I sound get different results to him and the TM burner wound not come out on top.

Interesting that there were over 30 yards between his best and worst.

Also did I here him say he played a regular shaft and the 2 with the best results were stiff.

Just goes to show you need a fitting and plenty of clubs and different shafts.

Sounded like he said that the two longest drivers were the ONLY ones he HADNT been custom fit for.
