So I've received my pair for the bargain sum of £63 thanks to the recommendation on the below thread (they're still £120 in AG)

They look great, very comfortable, have a 2 year waterproof guarantee, give superb grip... all good and exactly what I was after...

However...

After some putting & chipping practice I noticed I was leaving quite deep, distinct impressions on the slightly softish greens, actually resulting in a little damage to the high impact areas, eg where standing when doing certain repetitive drills

Never had this issue before with either 'regular' cleats or trainer type soles (apart obviously from when on sodden greens

This 'new traction system' is quite unique and provides brilliant grip but the damage is a bit concerning and reminds me a little of the Adidas (Adizero?) issue a few years ago

Anyone noticed the same or heard of similar issues?

Had mine all season, not noticed any problems and had no negative comments made about them, your post is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned.

My vapor storm boots have this sole. It does mark the green, but i think it will recover pretty quickly. My playing partners footjoy dna were making big round dents, which looked worse.

My only issue is that i still dont think they are waterproof.

It marks but soon disappears.

They're genuinely the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned.

I've got a pair of the limited edition LCV2's turning up at the end of the month

Was chatting to friend recently and he said he was playing with someone wearing them recently and was leaving the same marks on their greens.
