Wow!! I played with this ball today and i was very very impressed.I usually play a prov1 but recently have thought about trying other balls.Straight away i like the feel off the clubface, soft but very long as well, longer than the prov.It also was stopping extremely well on the greens, one shot a 180 yard 5 rescue wood stopped within a foot of where it landed, soft green but non the less impressive.I know this ball is premier and very expensive[£45.00 a dozen]and i dont think i will be buying any as i have hundreds of balls. But if there is anyone with lots of cash, give this ball a go you will be impressed.

One Black is old skool and they chew up worse than any other premium ball I have ever tried, my opinion of them is at the opposite end of the spectrum from you!

You are probably right Homer, this was the first time i have used a nike ball and i was impressed.Maybe the new ones you mentioned are even better.Bad news this morning i lost the Nike oneblack, first shot.

I use the Nike Power Distance Soft balls.

They are good balls.

Heavy branding and marketing will tell you that the most expensive balls are the best, although I often find that with alot of golf stuff, this is not the case.

I use the PD soft balls as they are cheaper and I really couldn't find any difference compared to the Nike One Tour Golf balls I was previously using (the successor to the ball you mention!).

I don't lose alot of balls overall so its not too much of a pain in the wallet purchasing new balls as it isn't a regular occurrence like it used to be.

In future though, i'll stick with the PD soft as they are at a good price for a dozen balls and create spin etc. in much the same way as more expensie balls do.

Ash!!
