Well I was looking for some quality waterproofs but not at the ultra high pricing end of the market, and after a lot of review reading and image viewing i opted for the Nike Hyper Adapt Suit in black, with Volt trim , half zip version.
Luckily or unluckily for me i got the perfect opportunity to test them out in the most hideous weather conditions last Saturday morning and I must say that peformance was faultless and not one drop of rain got through . They're also incredibly breathable and despite being "layered up" underneath perspiration wasn't an issue either.
Styling wise they look very impressive and many positive comments were received by co-members some of whom were at the senior end of the spectrum. It seems that Nike have really found a quality product here that appeals to all ages and abilities. Admittedly £360 is still a lot to pay for a waterproof suit but with performance more than comparable to the scandinavian end of the market i would recommend it as a wise investement.
