Hi Guys!

Sorry for another thread.

Seen these balls at american golf, I have a voucher, you can get 24 balls for £25. Just wondering if anyone has tried these. I normally use ProV1s, but can't afford them as I tend to use a fresh ball every round or two, loosing a few as well. Or recently I've been using and liking the Taylormade RBZ Urtherane balls, which are £25 for 12 balls.

Nike or TM there? Or any other options for around £25 for around 12 balls?

Thanks guys!

You can often pick up premium balls in a sale for £25. Think Clubhouse golf direct were flogging off Bridgestone B330 RXS plus the Callaway ones Big Phil used to win the open in 2013 for 22 notes and TM Lethals for £25.

As has been mentioned lots of times the average amateur will not be able to tell the difference between just about any premium ball so best policy in my book is to get last years models when they come down in price. And avoid Pro V1s as they are hardly discounted that much.;)

ProV1 X-Outs. Clubhouse golf direct. £21 for 12.

They are new ProV1s, just with a slight print imperfection. Usually the ink has ran a tiny bit on the print of the number or logo.

Nothing wrong with them, just not 'perfect' from a print POV, so can't be sold at full price.

I believe Clubhouse gold also have Callaway Hex Black Tours for £21, if memory serves me correctly.

I got given a sleeve of the Nike PD soft balls at our Pro's day recently. I couldn't hit them anywhere close to straight, especially with the driver and long irons which seemed to turn a draw into a severe hook. I also got a sleeve of Nike RZN Red and wasn't overly keen on those either.

I normally play TM Lethal or Wilson Staff DX3.

Often use the Nike pd soft. Great ball for the price. They fly straight and true even get some spin on the green. They do tend to fly a bit higher than a lot of the other balls out there.

But don't forget any ball that you can get to spin can exaggerate any faults with your swing. So don't blame the ball.
