Hi all,

Ive rrad the descriptions of the 3 different nike engage wedge grinds and still cant work out how they compare to traditional grinds and bounces.

Am i right in thinking that toe sweep would be the best off very tight lies, even without laying the face wide open?

Cheers.

Not sure on bounce as the best wedges I've used I had/have no idea what bounce they have (Bridgestone J40).

I bought some of the Engage wedges as they were dirt cheap as part of the Nike fire-sale. The toe sweep in the 56 & 60 is absolutely brilliant. I was very impressed with them tbh. Had been looking to replace my old Bridgestone ones and had tried Vokey, Callaway etc and the Engage were far better, IMO of course. My course has a lot of tight lies (on the coast) and they're very good from that type of lie.

I also like rusty looking wedges so these were ideal (they're "raw" so start rusting straight away, worth knowing if you prefer pristine looking wedges)

Thanks for this. I also play coastal courses and therefore tight lies. Think ill go for the toe sweeps.
