Tried both, really liked both. The covert tour helped me bring my spin numbers down so I bought that.
They are both excellent drivers but you need to find which one works best for you.

I love my covert driver, but will only ever recommend trying it.... not buying it.

Not got anything to say about the Covert but tried the G25 a few days ago-was giving approx half the spin I get with my normal driver! I like the stealth look over the louder looking Covert too but if the Covert worked better I could forgive the looks!

I don't think I could hit the Covert. Hat red head and white tick look a little garish to my eye.

Tried most of them and got on the best with the Callaway X-hot so id recommend giving that a hit, especially with the current offer of a free hybrid with it. Of the 2 the Covert looks the best but the G25 is very forgiving.

Ive got the G25 having come from an old Nike Sq one and gotta say I love it. I def recommend trying it, the ball gets some roll on it and I think the feel on it is more impressive than most clubs I have tried. I have the Covert 3 wood and its great as well looks gorgeous, but I gotta say out all the clubs I have tried the G25 has been the one ive really went wow with. Like others have said its up to you to go try and see what feels good........but I think you will been impressed with the G25!

Didn't you have a G25 in the bag yesterday, Latty? If I'd known you were in the market for a new driver, I'd have let you hit my Titleist - lovely bit of kit.
I'd suggest you try the Cobra Amp driver too, as I know a lot of folk have nothing but high praise for it.
All about the shaft though, in my humble opinion.

As they're all saying gotta try before you by, but don't limit yourself to just those 2 try everything in the price range your looking at and find the one thats truely best for you even if its not the prettiest!

His driver is an i20 in a G25 disguise, certainly give the Amp Cell a crack I went looking at drivers and only tried one of them as an extra option and found it to be the best one for me and I love it. Shame anout the rest of my game! Totally agree its about the shaft tough.
I hear a good day was had yesterday, gutted I missed it but am now off the weekend rota for a good few months so hopefully can join you for the next game.
