Nike covert hybrid tour or no tour!,

Hi guys

Just back from testing hybrids and decided the nike covert was the one for me was just price checking it online when I noticed I can pay £10 more and have the tour version I was wondering is this worth it?? I'm presuming for the extra £10 and the fact that I can then change lofts from 17-21 degrees it surely is but I'm wondering if it maybe a better players club I'm currently 21 hcp so wondering if I can maybe handle this and what peoples experiences are with it

I liked the covert when I brought my cobra, think the adjustability and a slightly better shaft are the only differences.

My advice would be to stick with the standard model if that is what you tried and hit well. The problem with tour models is that they are not forgiving and they tend to hit the ball on a lower more penetrating trajectory. They also tend to have a slightly heavier shaft which doesn't help lower handicap players to get the ball up.

The shaft in the Tour is better, although still not by any means very difficult to hit. Choose the one which performs best for you whether Tour or not.
