Hope so, but it's a looooong way to go before the cut from there. Part of his problem is that he's managed to throw in a decent round now and then, but often only after a shocking first round, when he already knew he would miss the cut and the pressure was off.
I would really like to see him get back on track. Is it psychological with him? I know the death of his mother hit him really hard, understandably.
I don't know enough about this sort of stuff to know whether that can cause this kind of slump. I know he's been through a few coaches as well.
ET have just corrected his score back to -4 after 9 so I hope this is right and their not making a total horlicks of the scoring. Would like to see him do well.
Still having weekends off to spend with Mrs Dougherty must have certain compensations. He's a decent guy (from what I've seen and read) and no-one likes to see anyone struggle that badly when he's clearly a talented player. Good luck Nick and hopefully Mrs D will have to go shopping alone this weekend
