Newspapers

I don't tend to buy any.
But occasionally read The Sun or Daily Star.
I take everything I read with a pinch of salt.

I have the Guardian on subscription, and I buy the Times on a Sunday. Pot of coffee, the Times and Wrighty on the wireless! Is there a better way to start a Sunday?!

full of yesterdays news ,so dont buy any of them.

Absolutely, but in the modern age of 24-hour rolling news I think that's sometimes a good thing. It gives us an article where someone hopefully has a few more facts at their disposal and some time to think about what to say.

Sadly, many of the papers don't appear to take much time with either the facts or the thought! I read the Grauniad regularly, if that isn't on the stand then I'll pick up the i or at a pinch the Telegraph. Beyond those three I don't have much faith in the others.

I prefer Andrex personally

I'll celebrate when some disgraceful publications go out of business

Having said I don't read any of them, I will glance at them at the club and prefer the likes of the Times, especially the sport section which has some decent editorial and features. I like a writer that can provoke some thought

I used to buy a daily newspaper and then on a Sunday too but stopped years ago - I guess when the internet really took off.

Generally I should read more...

The press and journal during the week and the times on a Sunday, really enjoy the sport section and the missus likes the mags.

Get the local rag once a week, sometimes miss that too, almost never buy a national daily paper or Sunday paper now unless I'm stuck somewhere with poor mobile data service. Internet is up to date and offers more choice and doesn't flap about in the wind and doesn't cost money (well it does but you know what I mean). Dont buy any magazines either, includes Golf Monthly sorry!

I buy the times, maybe 2 or 3 times a week, certainly not as much as I used to and dont really miss it if I dont have it. Wont be long till I rarely bother I expect

up until recently still got the Guardian, the FT and the P&J delivered. the current Mrs148 cancelled them as i hadn't touched any of them for at least a couple of weeks:(

Yes...

Best way to start a sunday is being 1/2 down the third at 7am on a summers morning.

I have a wonderful memory of that from 2010 when we got a super early tee time on the most perfect of summer days.
