Am in Newcastle Thursday / Friday this week and should have a clear run after 3pm if my calendar holds.

was thinking of taking the clubs up for a game, eyes on Hartlepool GC if on my own but would be good to meet if anyone's around?

Am away I'm afraid, actually heading your way. Hartlepool is practically another country mind! Loads of lads further up in Durham, Sunderland area who should be able to sort you out. Have a good time.
 
Any chance you could do 1pm on Friday mate, you'd be welcome at Seaham, got an appointment at 5:30 so need get off earlier,

How often do you come over here, I retire on Friday so any future trips I can sort something out.
 
There's a good chance I can give you a game tomorrow afternoon at my place (Arcot Hall, 15 mins drive from Newcastle). My only worry is I tweaked my back yesterday lifting some tiles. I am off to the range with a mate this afternoon, if it is ok after that, I should be fine for tomorrow.

Assuming I can make it, I will need to be away for 6.30 to pick my lad up, so the earlier we can start, the better.
 
Doh - just spotted the bit about 4.30. We could play 9, but my place will charge for a full round (£16). Alternatively, there is a 9 hole course at Backworth which is a tenner. Not as nice as our place, and would need to check their fixtures to make sure we can get on ok. I can get on there for free as I have a mate who's company has a corporate membership there, but I'm afraid you would still need to pay!

If you get a better offer, that's fine, just trying to help and won't take offence;)

Your place sounds great. If 15 minutes from central Newcastle i can probably be there for 3:30.

Let me know how your back holds up and don't feel obliged to play if it's in any way suspect!

Thanks for today David, was good fun and great to meet.

Will definitely be back when up here more regularly, might try out those fairways you kept hitting off the tee!

Driving was the best part of my game yesterday, the less said about the rest, the better!
