Hi all. New to the forums and relatively new to golf as well, after starting semi-seriously about a year and a half ago, (though I used to play fairly regularly as a kid some 25+ years ago!) Thought I'd say hello to everyone.
Got a handicap earlier this year, and was quite pleased to be given 16, but I've not been playing to it since!
My local club is a relatively easy course anyway, so 16 is perhaps a bit low in the big scheme of things.
Local club is The Park Golf Course, Avington, in Hampshire, near where I live. Nice little 9-hole course, which is only a par 31 out and par 30 in, but a few tricky holes. Everyone laughs at the tiny 73-yard 8th/17th, but it catches a lot of players out.
