thought i would join up and say hi, i have just started playing golf again, the last time i played properly was 20 years ago when i was 16, HC of 18, the last time i had a round with some friends was 15 years ago, just joined up to Kingennie golf club and got a membership for my son (age 6) as well, my first 9 holes played the other day consisted of 5 lost balls and way over par but i enjoyed my round, so much so i went out 2 days later in the pouring rain, full waterproofs and umbrella, only 1 lost ball but still way over par, even enjoyed it in the rain, im sure i will be searching the forum for some hints and tips.

so im away to have a look around :whoo::fore:

Welcome back to golf world. I'm also at learning stage for better play.
It will be good for both your son and you as hobby to enjoy together.

Welcome. I'm at a similar stage having taken up the game again 2 months ago after a 10 year lay off. If you're anything like me then way over par will be the norm for a good while yet. Doesn't detract from golf being one of the most addictive and enjoyable games out there though!!
