Hi Im Ricky from Herts,Im a subscriber to Golf Monthly, been playing for 18 months & have been bitten by the bug!
Iv had approx 16 lessons in 2 batches over the last 18 months Iv been playing. Watch Golf Channel Academy religously & read too many mags & books. I play once a week, & hit about 100 to 150 balls a week at the range......basically addicted! Got my first video lesson booked for this Sat at my club by club pro
Before joining my current golf club a few months ago, I used to play on par 3's for about 14 months. Hence my putting & chipping is the better part of my game, but my approach shots let me down always (100 yards & in). There are days when I go round in 15 over & others when I go round in 25 or more over!
