Anyone else out for a walk and hit today - HID and me out at about 9.30 - nobody has booked a tee time so should be millionaires golf - Happy New Year

Yes, we're out with two others at 9.22. Won't be millionaires golf for us as quite a few booked in unless they cancel between now and then. Hoping the damn rain stays off.

Was going to play @ 9:30 but Noah has blocked my drive with some sort of wooden construction!!

When Saturday comes now, but forecast doesn't look great for that either!!

Not a chance today, course will be flooded, had thunder and lightning last night and gales and heavy rain since. Funnily enough when I went out on Sunday it was heavy frost and bright sunshine. Even had the ball stopping when putting due to ice accumulation during roll regardless of how hard I hit it - Roll on the spring :fore:

2014 has been terrible for my golf so far!

You would have to be mad to play golf in our part of the world today, because it's blowing a hoolie with torrential rain!

Went out at 8:10 in an effort to beat the worst of the forecast but failed miserably.

Already blowing a gale when we tee'd off but it then started throwing it down around 9:30.

Abandoned it after 13 holes.

Not enjoyable.

was due to be playing in the Bambo Cup today, which is a 9 hole comp held on new years day where you play some of the course backwards. 18th green to 17th green etc. comes back to the practice putting green in front of the club house.

Slipped a twisted my ankle on Monday coming off the 14th tee, out for a couple of weeks at least as its the size of a bowling ball at the moment.

Both of these. There is a comp today, by the time we left the NYE bash last night, all but one fourball had removed themselves from the starting sheet.
