Ok, its that time of year, and I know I would benefit from a little weight loss generally, and certainly after the Christmas excesses !!

So, with that in mind, how about we form a little weight loss challenge ?

I'm thinking from now till 30 March, and it will be in the same spirit that our glorious game is played, ie totally on our word, and your word only.

I'm pretty sure i'm about 15st 5/6lbs currently, and would love to lose say 1stone, and I'm sure that it would not only benefit my game positively, but also benefit me generally. Need to think of these things at 47

So, who's in ?

count me in - judging by the number of people resolving to get fit on the new year resolution thread, there will be plenty of takers.

currently around 14 and a half stone - also aiming to lose 1 stone by 30 march.

game on!

Count me in

Im 14 stone, want to shed 1 stone.
I know I can do it if I cut out the chocolate, but i'd rather slit my throat than give it up altogether.

eat less, move more

we need to get Imurg in on this, he has a shedload to lose

It all started on the beach, when I couldnt find the frisbee we'd been throwing.......

Is that Imurg in the distance, making his way up to the keyboard, shuffling along with his belly in that wheelbarrow ?

:D ;)

Up yours Chris :D And you Fragger :D

Happy bloody new year.

Tried this last year and it didn't work. However, times are a little easier so I may give it another bash.

But now I have a problem, behind me here in my office, is a half eaten bar of Galaxy Smooth Dark chocolate, a full unopened bar of Bourneville, and a small pack of Gordon Ramsey Choccies too, not to mention the pretty full tin of Roses in the lounge !

*must be strong.....*

I've a house full of chocolate and booze - its all anyone bought me for xmas!

Like parmo, am cutting out the booze for a while though - my wagon is arriving on Monday for six weeks.

No beer + lots of CV should hopefully equal pretty quick weight loss. I intend to be down below 13 by 30 June, so the challenge is well and truly on for me!

I'm in! never been heavier 17 stone. Monday is start day and I'm putting money at the bookies to lose 4 stone by the end of the year.

Will try as well, currently around 14 st. would like to be 13 st. Cut out booze and crisps and get on the running machine that still looks brand new 2 years later :o
