New Year golf surrey people

Hi folks, who fancies a game in the new year reading the success stories of our forum blind dates has inspired me to try and arrange something.

So who lives in Surrey and fancies a game? Spoke with Gasp earlier and he seemed keen.

Ill be in, although I live in hampshire ( aldershot ), my home club ( puttenham ) is in surrey and i have played many of the courses in the surrounding area.

Im sure homer will be in aswell.

Im hardly a surrey sort, im Welsh for a start, I drink bitter the only reason im in such a wealthy area is due to my job.

Sounds interesting. What part of Surrey? Parts of it are a bu66er to get to in the mornings coming from Kent.

Silvermere would always be a good course to play btw.

Its convient for most ppl to get to ... its sign posted as from when you turn off the A3 at the cobham turning.

Im easy on the course, depends on numbers etc. Im living near Kingston and 15mins from the A3.

Would be good to play a course near the A3.

Unless Santa brings a big bundle of cash for us all I dont think so.

"All golfing guests must produce a current handicap certificate or letter from his or her Club Secretary at Reception before play".

I aint got a handicap.

Who is up for a municipal or fancy being a host at their clubs not needing a handicap certificate?

Im not an encyclopedia on courses in Surrey but if we do meet up make it a long and hard one. not a parkland course with fairways as wide as long and flat greens. I want to be tested like the pros. Speed 11 Greens!.
To make it fair how much can everyone who wants to play afford to spend on green fees? Im not too fussed aslong as my mrs doesnt Find out!
