In this months Golf World they have an advert showing a glimpse of the new Di9 irons, they look awesome and I have been searching for more info on them for ages, does anyone know anything?

we have them in the office - nice looking club, Harrington will be using them instead of Di7, Quite friendly looking so should suit a wide range

proper piece on them in the November issue

Just seen the add in this months magazine (arrived this morning). If they are as confidence inspiring as the DI7s then may be worth a look.

Mike, do they come with the Fatshafts like the DI7s or do they have a regular shaft. I only ask as the problem with te DI7s were that you were limited on shaft options if you went for a custom fit and few people would adjust loft and lie because of the small hosel.

So are they a replacement for the Di7 irons? Harrington using them? That dont sound user friendly he uses the Pi7 irons which are harder to hit than Ricky Hattons nose!

I am so eager for them to come out, I love Wilson Staff gear and my Di7 are looking a little old

Have to agree that I always thought that the Di7s were game improvers, the Pi7s for the decent players and the Ci7s were somewhere inbetween.

Certainly would be intrigued to see some more comment on these as I sometimes regret ditching my Di7s (was offered a deal on my Orka irons that I could not resist)

I still love mine GB72, however, we often fall out. I am getting them re-gripped in few weeks with the red Golf Pride grips and in my eyes they are definitely some of the sexiest game improvement irons.

I fell out with mine once too often at the same time as I was offered the set of Orkas with Nippon Pro 950 shafts for under £200.00. Kept the Di7s for a while but they were then ebayed to fund more golf purchases. Loved the look of them and they even held their value really well (though I suspect the price will plummett now).

As these Di9s have come from nowhere, I wonder whether Wilson Staff have rushed their release to cash in on Harrington's success. Certainly you normally see a few magazine previews before the adds start appearing.

I hope not GB72 they have a big reputation / act to follow. Wilson Staff have produced some great irons over the last two years and I hope these continue in the same way.

I'm not 100% sure on full shaft options - will check with the boys at Wilson and come back to you

Indeed, if they look better than the Di7s then I may need to start saving.

Would also be intrigued to see details of the various lofts. Are they as aggressively lofted as the DI7s?
