New Wilson FG Tour irons

They look pretty good but they look a bit chunky for Padraig and Co. I know Ricky Barnes used them last week and more pros are using cavity-backs but they don't strike me as a "players" club on looks alone.

they actually look a lot more streamlined 'in the flesh' - TaylorMade TP, Ping S57 type cavity size

Youda Boss I'll take your word for it! Maybe if I saw them in the flesh and was able have a few rounds with them I could be swayed..... :p :p :p

They certainly arent the prettiest of things to look at it has to be said

Kind of like Davina McCall, no oil painting by any stretch of the imagination but you still would wouldnt you? ;)

They appear to have Marmite looks, personally I think they look great, would love to give these a go, trouble is I would probably try them and love the play. I would then need to figure out a way of telling the other half I need yet another set of irons :(

Would need to see them in the flesh to say for definate however first impressions are favourable and like Mike said, they remind me of the TM TP's.

I am a Wilson fan.

I like Wilson. I play with a Spine Driver and have all 3 versions of their balls in my bag.
I would buy their irons, but (and correct me if I'm wrong) are they not the company of the 42 degree PW?

I can only hope that these irons are bucking the trend.

Otherwise, thanks for the lead!

Wilson do love a strong lofted iron, however, they usually hold back a little for "players" irons.

Wilson Staff are a great Golf company but they have alienated a lot of people with their bull **** advertisement about "advanced" technology when all they have done is jacked the loft and made a god looking game improvement iron.

These irons look hideous! Wilson Staff have struggled since the pi5 to produce another good looking "players" iron that works.

There no Mizunos thats for sure :D but not bad. Looks to me a little of a G.I iron rather than a players iron with all that on the back.
