They look pretty good but they look a bit chunky for Padraig and Co. I know Ricky Barnes used them last week and more pros are using cavity-backs but they don't strike me as a "players" club on looks alone.
I think its a brave move of Harrington to switch to these before arguably the biggest major and given his poor form. They don't look bad but they don't really stand out and go WOW either
They appear to have Marmite looks, personally I think they look great, would love to give these a go, trouble is I would probably try them and love the play. I would then need to figure out a way of telling the other half I need yet another set of irons
I like Wilson. I play with a Spine Driver and have all 3 versions of their balls in my bag.
I would buy their irons, but (and correct me if I'm wrong) are they not the company of the 42 degree PW?
I can only hope that these irons are bucking the trend.
Wilson do love a strong lofted iron, however, they usually hold back a little for "players" irons.
Wilson Staff are a great Golf company but they have alienated a lot of people with their bull **** advertisement about "advanced" technology when all they have done is jacked the loft and made a god looking game improvement iron.
These irons look hideous! Wilson Staff have struggled since the pi5 to produce another good looking "players" iron that works.
