well, was waiting from 9am for my new (2nd hand) Vokey 52* wedge, FINALLY i heard my gate open at 1pm, opened the door as if suprised (smiling inside) knowing full well what it was, said a 'thank you', ran inside, ripped open the box, to see a nice new(ish) wedge! thank god it was as described (used but in very good condition).
got in the car, warmed up on the practice ground, finding the exact range on the club, finished, got on the first and off i went. had some really good shots with the wedge!! ended up shooting 36 points, so was quite happy, could do better and next time i (hopefully) will, shot 99 today, so hoping to knock a few shots off wed/thurs!

I know how you feel. I got my Ram Tour Grind X wedges last year after struggling using only a PW and SW. To this day my 60 deg wedge is still my "go-to" club for anything up to 130 yards

My 52 deg is my preferred club around the greens, I only really use the 60 deg if I absolutely have to get up and down quick, say over a bunker with very little green to work with.

To this day my 60 deg wedge is still my "go-to" club for anything up to 130 yards

I'm no big hitter, maybe 260 yards once in a while.

I think like most people have one, its just my club which I know inside out and use it more than anything else. I know the weight of the club, how hard I can swing with it plus how subtle I can be around the greens

If I use my other clubs more frequently I suppose my game would improve

130 yards with a 60*, that's impressive, reckon mine goes about 80-90 tops. Although can sometimes hit it 130 yards...........right!!

My new (to me anyway) 52 degree wedge arrived on Saturday when we were out so ended up with a card through the door from the post office HID didn't get there to collect it yesterday but has promised me that she will today - fingers crossed - as i'm itching to get it out there

I can hit my lob wedge 130 yards....if I blade it!
Must say I'm a reasonably big hitter but I can only hit my Cleveland 51* wedge about 90 to 100 yards.

Cant see you hitting a 60 degree that far, only if you blade it, lol. I don't exactly hit it short and that's my pw distance.
