New Toys for the course

My new irons are out for their first outing today so a fresh new box of balls have been opened and im hoping for a good round.

Anyone else have something new to wear or use this weekend?

I used by Vokey SM5 wedges for the first time yesterday. They were wonderful and my short game was probably at the best it's ever been.

Shame that my long game had gone Bye-Bye and I was getting up and down to save bogeys or worse

Taking a Mizuno mp650 driver out for a spin this afternoon. Hit it at the range yesterday. Its a fade machine. Aim up the left side and let it rip.

On the course will be the acid test though.

Just put Nippon NS PRO Modus 3 120 stiff shaft in my 6i blade to try out, and early indications are, get them in........

Just ordered an Odyssey Jumbo grip for my old white ice #9. Hoping it will make a difference as I feel I'm getting a bit handsy

New 3 iron. It's taken me 12 blows with it, but I've finally middled one! It's all good, but how do I repeat it.

I have just bought some RBZ Irons and been given an X2hot Driver. Took the irons out on the course yesterday and ended up 4th! my 2nd ever top 5 finish (not my PB that a a 3rd place a couple of months ago). Took the driver to Top Golf last night though in Addlstone and boy is it a cracker! Certainly wont be taking it back!!

Bought a set of Cobra S3 Pros off Ebay and they arrived today. They look sweet so cant wait to get out for a hit with them.

Well the Irons certainly fly higher. Hit some good and some not so good so time will tell.
