New Toy- SkyCaddie 2.5

Finally after months of shall I, shant I, I have brought myself a SkyCaddie 2.5. Had a bit of money given to me for my birthday so had to do it.

I'm all docked in, charging as I type. Does the light go green when fully charged?

Looking forward to getting out and using it now. PLaying Bird Hills on Friday for a society event, then off to Stoke by Nayland next week. Can't wait!!!!

Enjoy. Try and find somewhere you can hit your clubs and use the mark ball facility to see exactly how far you hit each one. Other than that just enjoy the confidence it will give knowing how far you have left.

If yours is the new version it has a scoring facility - I've turned mine off as its a bit of a pain. Try it and see how you get on with it.

I think the scoring faclity is great, I have it on my sc 5, good to see at the end of the round how well / bad I did and also to see how many putts I took.

Yes the green light comes on when fully charged, you should be able to get at least two rounds in on a full charge.

I usually make 3 rounds on a full charge , however I forgot to charge it up last week for the comp and it packed up after 5 holes

Dont forget you can only use the distance function in comps.
