New to Golf Looking for Irons - Good Deal? Taylor Made Burner SuperLaunch

i would say these are reasonable. they're a suitable club for a new player, and the price is respectable.

some people will insist that you should hit them and be fitted for them at great expense, but i'd suggest that these are fine unless you are of an extreme body shape.

Ok they are on the way.

Is it a good or bad idea to mix and match your clubs ? Once i start buying wood/hybrids and drivers all different makes?

Some people like to match for the sake of it but its not important. I have taylormade driver, ping irons, callaway wedges and titliest putter. dont get too caught up in gear at the moment as you'll find you'll most likely chop and change your bag about anyway. If you have surplus money you'll be a better golfer if you spend it on lessons than shiney clubs

What he says!

Plenty of 2nd hand gear about at reasonable cost - at least for those of us that hit it with the front of the club rather than the back!

Get a series of basic lessons sorted out soon - to get the basics sorted out early, before you get into bad habits.

Welcome aboard btw!

yes....yes i am :|

:fore:

lol good job. I know a guy that got really excited about buying a new driver from ebay. In his excitement at the bargain price which was about £40 less than other places, he missed the fact it was left handed :D

Those should be a good start and from what I've seen of left handed club they are hard to come by second hand but when you do the supply and demand aspect means prices are often lower ;)
