Good afternoon everyone, new to the forum, thought I would say hello.

I live in South Oxfordshire/Bucks area, no home club but play 2-3 times a month. Play off 23, play all year round. Love the game.

Playing Harleyford in Marlow for the 1st time tomorrow, anyone played there, whats it like?

Everyone have a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year.

Matt

Never played the course mentioned, but welcome to the forum anyway. It's always great to increase the numbers contributing so long may it continue.

Have a good one yourself.

Hi Matt,
i'm quite new to the forum myself but welcome just the same.

Hope you enjoy it, i do.

Merry Xmas to you too.

Fore. :)

hello mate. I'm from the same area, where do you normally play?

Alright guys thanks for the welcome. I've played Waterstock a few times. Then the other usual suspects are Wycombe Heights, Farnham Park, Hennerton, Wexham Park, Bird Hills and Blue Mountain.

Where do you play?

Wexham isn't too bad but a bit wet this time of year. Played Birds Hill recently in a society -4 int he wind chill and boy its open to the wind but is in pretty good knick and the greens were good. You are welcome down at my club for a game anytime you like (plus the forum society day)

Yeah Wexham is a steady course, played in the summer last time out there.

Played Bird Hills at the start of the month, weather was good then. Nearly holed out on the Par 3 9th, 2 more inches! Rough was quite deep when we played.

Where's your course?

hello mate, I've played waterstock couple of times too, don't really rate it to be honest. I'm new to the game and not a member so I play lots of places. Badgemore park in Henley, weston turville, the springs are a few favourites but theres quite a few more. wouldn't mind a go round Wycombe and I kinda know the new pro @ bird hills.(if its the one in maidenhead?)

ademac

Yep it is the one in Maidenhead. Mattdeeks trust me my regular cronies are off 28, 24 and 23 and the 28 handicapper was the one who played against GM so you have nothing to worry about. Get yourself down this way for a game. HTL will no doubt try and come and maybe a few others for a spontaneous meet. You are more than welcome to come to the society meet in April and won't be out of place.
