New Titleist 910D2

Hi,

I have just ordered through my Pro at Westerham a new shiny new 910D2 following a session at the National Fitting Centre at St Ives. Bit gutted that the shaft recommended was the Tour AD DI6 by Grpahite Design - a tasty upcharge there !!!!

Does anyone use this combo and find it worth the extra £££ and any idea how long Titleist generally take to build and send out a new Driver.

Now for the Irons, I have a good price on some Mizuno MP53's but the shop saying an across the board 10% increase from Mizuno with effect from 1/9/11 so I need to order now. Is this just to get me to order or has anyone heard of this at all?

You should get the 910 in about a week or so. Haven't heard about the Mizuno price, but I would have thought that internet retailers would continue to sell stuff they have in stock at competitive prices.

no mizuno price hike on 53's IMO as the new mizunos come out in sept so if anything they will come down in price and worst case stay the same, piss poor sales technique IMO

Since we're importing the vast majority of clubs, could the weak pound be the cause of those possible price rises. It's certainly having an effect with other imported goods

Mine took 2 weeks to arrive back in Feb. Didn't know about any upgrade costs on any of the shafts, I had the Diamara Kai'li which was inclusive in the price.
