New Titleist 714 irons

I think the Royal Mail are playing games with me.

Was fitted last week for the clubs and was told they would likely be here this week.

I work from home so ideal, I can be her when they arrive. Had to go out to a site meeting and survey yesterday, came back in to find a Royal Mail card through the door. Two parcels to be collected - yes - me thinks . So off to the sorting office today to collect -- - - - - - - - - two boxes with swim goggles for my daughter argh.

Back from sorting office to find another card behind the door, but this time is describes the package as being flat, so think no clubs today either

I've ordered some through my Pro, and he said they aren't released until 1st November, so would get them around the 4th/5th.

Hopefully when I visit him in 2 hours for my driver/wedge fitting I'll get some good news!!

Thanks Greig .. that exactly what ive been trying to convince myself .. part of me goes use old the ones until qualifiers finish ..

So excited and envious for you right now mate! Hopefully you'll be able to get them in time for the weekend!

All I ask is for you post something on here once you get to use them etc! I am thinking of getting a new set of 714 irons too! I am even contemplating flying over to the UK to a Titleist Fitting Centre to get properly fitted, i am that serious about them!

Has to be new clubs, as Greig says, what's the worst than can happen. I think we have a couple of comps left, Texas Scramble on Sunday for definite, so hopefully have them for then.

...seriously though new clubs are worth waiting for and don't go hiding them, get out using them from the word go...they were fitted and meant for you:thup:

What have you got on order? I will be very tempted by AP1s but am having to resist the temptation until some swing changes sort themselves and my swing speed variation drops a touch!

Ive got the AP2's coming , half inch longer , 2*flat & DG S300 shafts .. Alan has the AP1's so he would be able to advise you better on them ,they are lovely clubs tho..

Where did you order yours from? Titleist have told my club that mine will be delivered on the 8th November!

Was lucky enough to be selected by GM for the fitting mate , got them direct from Titleist , the not available in shops til Nov 8h
